Each year we solicit our members and colleagues to make presentations on successful or innovative programs that they would like to share with our members at the IACLEA Annual Conference. We invite you to submit a proposal. Instructions, the schedule and the submission form can be found below.

Selection Process

Selection Criteria

All submissions will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Overall quality
  • Timeliness of topic
  • Audience appeal
  • Well-defined focus of presentation
  • Presenter’s professional background and speaking experience

Speaker Policy

IACLEA does not normally provide honoraria or pay any travel or registration expenses. However, a limited number of $500 need-based scholarships are available for presenters from IACLEA member institutions who are selected, but whose institutions cannot afford to send them to the Conference. To be considered, please submit a statement of need with your Call for Proposal submission explaining the hardship which exists.

While it is not required, all presenters are encouraged to register for the conference. Selected presenters from IACLEA member institutions will receive a $50 discounted registration fee.
