Responding to Robberies: Public Safety Protocols for Higher Education

This course equips public safety professionals and campus law enforcement with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to robbery incidents in higher education settings. Participants will learn how to secure scenes, protect victims, collect and preserve evidence, and coordinate with local law enforcement and campus stakeholders. Emphasis is placed on tactical response, communication strategies, and investigative best practices to ensure timely and thorough case resolution. Learners will develop the ability to manage robbery incidents safely, uphold legal and ethical standards, and enhance campus security and community trust.
