Unarmed Response to Active Threat is a course designed to equip public safety professionals with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively during an active threat or hostile incident when unarmed. The course covers threat recognition, dynamic risk assessment, situational awareness, emergency decision-making, escape and evacuation strategies, communication protocols, and casualty care considerations. Through realistic scenarios and best-practice guidance, participants learn how to protect themselves and others, support emergency responders, and increase their chances of survival during high-risk situations.
