If you are interested in enrolling in the IACLEA Accreditation program, please complete this non-binding, on-line application. Upon receipt of the application, a member of the Accreditation department will contact you to discuss fees and timelines.
Accreditation fees are calculated based your campus’s full-time enrollment. IACLEA also offers systemwide and IACLEA/CALEA Joint Accreditation. After the initial two-year period, agencies pay annual continuation fees.

On-site Assessment Charge
In addition to the initial and annual accreditation fees, agencies will pay the travel costs associated with each on-site assessment, including the initial assessment. Assessments occur every four years after the initial accreditation. On-site costs include airfare, lodging, rental car, and assessor per diem. The actual costs will vary for every agency. IACLEA staff will coordinate with the agency to minimize those costs whenever possible.
The institution’s full-time equivalent enrollment as reported in the most recent calculation of the U.S. Department of Education’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Institutions outside of the United States should calculate their full-time equivalents as the sum of their full-time fall enrollment plus 1/3 of their part-time enrollment.
*Systemwide: IACLEA allows university systems—those with multiple campuses—to join the Accreditation Program and seek accreditation provided the system meets certain criteria. Further discussions will need to be held with the IACLEA Accreditation Program Director.
Joint CALEA Accreditation: IACLEA provides an Accreditation Program for those agencies that have received accreditation from CALEA. The number of standards to comply with and the annual fees are based on the level of CALEA accreditation.
